Faith, Resilience, and Transformation

Meet Dr. Caroline Leaf

The conference draws inspiration from Christian values, emphasising faith, positive mental attitude, leadership qualities, and lessons in forgiveness, gratitude, and humility. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Caroline Leaf, brings a powerful narrative of mental transformation. As a renowned Clinical & Research Neuroscientist and Communication Pathologist, for years she has studied the effects our thoughts have on our bodies. Psycho-neurobiology (or the mind/body connection) has the power to transform your life... if you are willing to.

Dr. Leaf is joined by Rusty Labuschagne and Yolandé Korkie, two individuals whose testimonies will leave you speechless. Rusty, having spent 10 years inside Zimbabwean prisons, for a crime he didn't commit tells a harrowing, but inspiring story about just how essential your mind is in getting you through life's most difficult challenges.

Yolandé, along with her husband Pierre, experienced first-hand, possibly every person's worst nightmare. Taken captive by Al Qaeda terrorists for 558 days. Yolandé was freed, unfortunately, her husband did not make it. Despite all of this her message of resilience, forgiveness, and living through some of life's worst moments is an astounding story to witness.
